Hudson Cole Magbuhat in 3D/4D

This morning we went to Window to the Womb in Southlake and got to see Hudson in 3D/4D. This was a wonderful gift from both of our parents. The room was very spacious, which was good because we fit my parents, JJ's parents, Julie, Jana, and JJ all in there! Our sonogram specialist did a fabulous job and got some really good pictures for us. Hudson was hugged up close to my placenta the whole time. I think he likes using it for his pillow! At one point he had his arms wrapped around it! The sonogram specialist says that usually when they hug to the placenta a bunch that means they will like to cuddle! Boy, do I hope so! :)

We got a dvd and about 90 pictures! It was the most wonderful experience! We got to see his cute little button nose and chubby little cheeks. I can't wait till I get to hold him in my arms!
I have about 13 weeks left until my due date.

Here are some pictures of our sweet little boy! :)

Look at those chubby cheeks and button nose!

Hudson's Nursery

We have been working hard to finish Hudson's nursery before we both start back to teaching on Monday! We still have some finishing touches to add, but the majority of the hard labor is done! Julie was gracious enough to paint the quote above the crib and glider! She did such an amazing job and we couldn't thank her enough!
There is also a picture of me at 26 weeks.

This bookshelf was mine when I was a teenager! We just painted it blue and it turned out great! Thank you Carrie for helping me paint it! :)
We still need to fill it up with children's books and brown totes with toys!
26 weeks!

Celebrating Four Wonderful Years

It seems like forever ago (almost 10 years) when a 18 year old boy came to pick up a 16 year old girl on October 2, 1999 to go see the movie Blue Streak and then to eat at Olive Garden. :) Then they feel in love!

Yesterday JJ and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful Christian man as my husband, best friend, and I can't wait to see him as a father! Hudson is a very lucky boy to have him as a father.
We enjoyed eating at our favorite mexican restaurant in downtown Fort Worth, Joe T. Garcias, and getting a delicious brownie sundae cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory!

Beautiful roses that JJ gave me.

Getting ready for Hudson

We have had an interesting week with no A/C at our house. After six days our A/C finally works and we get to be in our home! Luckily we are blessed to have both of our parents live so close to us. They welcomed us into their home and we got some good food! ;)

So it's official, our baby boy's name will be Hudson Cole Magbuhat! We have been through many names and this one just "fits".

We have all had fun shopping for Hudson this week. Nana and Grandma have already bought Husdson so many cute things!

JJ and I have also purchased our bedding. We wanted to do something classic with a blue and brown color scheme. I can't wait till we get it in and we can start painting and decorating! :)

Baby Magbuhat is a....

BOY! :)

JJ and I are very excited! We are praying that we can raise a strong Christian man that loves the LORD! We are looking forward to soccer, baseball, golf, and much more! I can't wait to actually see the little guy!
The doctor says that he is measuring right on target and all organs look great! He looks like he has some long legs from his momma! We are very blessed for what looks to be a very active and healthy baby boy.
We got some pictures, but he was moving around like crazy so they are not the best. He is VERY low and doesn't seem to want to move around in all the space that is available to him. :)
We have changed boy names often, but Hudson Cole is high on the list for right now.

Our baby is going to have parents that are teachers!

On Tuesday of this week JJ accepted a 6th Grade Math teaching job from Keller ISD, which is the same district I teach in.  After a lot of prayers, determination, working as a sub and having multiple jobs at once we have seen light at the end of this tunnel!  God has perfect timing and this has been a very blessed week for us.
I know that JJ will a FABULOUS teacher and his students will love him!

Nursery in the Making!

We went crib shopping on Monday and found a couple of cribs we liked.  We went home and thought about which crib fits our style the most and this is what we decided!  My parents wanted to give the two pieces of furniture as a gift.  JJ and I are very grateful and feel very blessed!  We can't wait to begin decorating!  :)

JJ hard at work!

What a wonderful husband and father!  :)
